El movimiento relativo entre el transmisor y el receptor es una fuente com\u00fan de la variaci\u00f3n del canal, pero no es la \u00fanica. En realidad,  la variaci\u00f3n del canal se puede clasificar en dos tipos: en primer lugar, la fluctuaci\u00f3n en el canal puede ser inducida por la inestabilidad del equipamiento electr\u00f3nico del transmisor\/receptor como los errores de fase en los osciladores y el desplazamiento de frecuencia. El efecto doppler es la mayor causa de la variaci\u00f3n del canal, est\u00e1 directamente relacionado con la frecuencia portadora y la velocidad relativa entre el receptor y el transmisor. En segundo lugar, adem\u00e1s de la variaci\u00f3n del canal, un escenario de multi-camino, debido al entorno, es altamente probable. Varias ondas (replicas) impactan al receptor. Bajo \u00e9stas circunstancias, y como el objetivo final de cualquier sistema de transmisi\u00f3n es la recuperaci\u00f3n de la informaci\u00f3n, la variaci\u00f3n del canal con el tiempo debe ser considerada con un modelo adecuado. Varios resultados en el sistema mimo se derivan considerando el canal quasi-estacionario, donde el tiempo se divide en slots (ranuras), considerando el canal estacionario dentro cada slot y el efecto doppler despreciable dentro del mismo slot. Recientemente, la estimaci\u00f3n de canal tiene mas importancia porque la recuperaci\u00f3n correcta de la informaci\u00f3n requiere obtener un modelo adecuado del canal variante con el tiempo. Esta tesis doctoral propone un modelo de canal mimo que incorpora el ensanchamiento de doppler (doppler spread) y el ensanchamiento de retardo (delay spread). \u00e9sta tesis doctoral se divide en seis cap\u00edtulos:  capitulo 1 : es un capitulo introductorio. capitulo 2 : presenta una visi\u00f3n general de los sistemas variantes con el tiempo e introduce los conceptos principales.
