Por otro lado ten\u00edamos evidencias que el egf era capaz de interferir de forma directa en el coraz\u00f3n en la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n intracelular de las catecolaminas. Es sabido que las catecolaminas son una de las mediadoras claves del estr\u00e9s y que las mismas pueden producir disfunciones contr\u00e1ctiles y lesiones celulares. en este contexto, nos planteamos demostrar en un modelo experimental de coraz\u00f3n aislado la hip\u00f3tesis que la interferencia del egf sobre la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n adren\u00e9rgica conllevaba cardioprotecci\u00f3n, probablemente tanto sobre la funci\u00f3n contr\u00e1ctil como sobre las lesiones celulares. Los resultados demuestran un efecto notable sobre la aparici\u00f3n de lesiones celulares y un efecto mucho mas moderado sobre la funci\u00f3n contr\u00e1ctil. en tanto que el egf es miembro de una familia de prote\u00ednas amplia, nos planteamos estudiar el papel de otros miembros de esta familia en un modelo experimental equivalente al utilizado con el egf. Las prote\u00ednas escogidas fueron la neuregulina-1-beta (nrg) y el factor de crecimiento similar al egf con afinidad por la heparina (hb-egf) por ser dos factores que han demostrado ser muy relevantes en el mantenimiento del coraz\u00f3n adulto. Los resultados no han mostrado ning\u00fan papel cardioprotector para el hb-egf pero s\u00ed para la nrg que ha mostrado un efecto tanto a nivel de funci\u00f3n contr\u00e1ctil como en la
