Para su evaluaci\u00f3n existen numerosos ensayos, que presentan el inconveniente principal de requerir largos tiempos para la obtenci\u00f3n de resultados. Para paliar este problema, la alternativa que se baraja en la actualidad consiste en evaluar la corrosi\u00f3n intergranular, mediante t\u00e9enica de ensayo electroqu\u00edmicas. En estudios recientes se han empleado ensayos de polarizaci\u00f3n c\u00edclica que permiten cuantificar el grado de sensibilizaci\u00f3n. Hasta la fecha, los resultados obtenidos son esperanzadores, pero el m\u00e9todo se puede mejorar estableciendo las condiciones de ensayo id\u00f3neas que permita diferenciar peque\u00f1os grados de sensiblizaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como, obtener resultados repetitivos y fiables. en el trabajo realizado se ha definido un m\u00e9todo electroqu\u00edmico de evaluaci\u00f3n de la corrosi\u00f3n intergranular para los materiales tipo en &#8211; 1.4301 (alto carbono) y en &#8211; 1.4307 (bajo carbono). en un primer paso, se ha conseguido optimizar los par\u00e1metros de la curva de polarizaci\u00f3n c\u00edclica, mediante la realizaci\u00f3n de un acondicionamiento electroqu\u00edmico previo al ensayo de polarizaci\u00f3n c\u00edclica, que da lugar a la obtenci\u00f3n de curvas de un alto grado de limpieza y, adem\u00e1s, confiere una excelente reproducibilidad de resultados. del estudio detallado de la influencia de las variables m\u00e1s representativas presentes en el ensayo, (acabado superficial de la muestra, velocidad de barrido de potencial, temperatura del electrolito, concentraci\u00f3n de tiocianato pot\u00e1sico), se han definido las condiciones id\u00f3neas para poder evaluar la corrosi\u00f3n intergranular. la construcci\u00f3n de los diagramas tts ha permitido caracterizar dos aceros inoxidables de alto y bajo contenido en carbono. Se ha llevado a cabo un estudio de gran relevancia, donde se ha evaluado la resistencia frente a la corrosi\u00f3n intergranular (astm a262\/pr\u00e1ctica-a, astm a262\/pr\u00e1ctica-e, velocidad de corrosi\u00f3n y m\u00e9todo electroqu\u00edmico) de los materiales seleccionados en el rango de temperaturas cr\u00edticas de sensibilizaci\u00f3n y en un amplio intervalo de tiempos.
