Los canales de potasio dependientes de voltaje, kv 3.1 y kv 3.3, son importantes en el correcto funcionamiento del cerebelo, ya que la ausencia o mutaci\u00f3n de estos canales causan alteraciones importantes del movimiento en rat\u00f3n y humano. En este trabajo nos propusimos estudiar la distribuci\u00f3n ultraestructural subcelular de kv 3.1 y kv 3.3 en el n\u00facleo dentado de ratones transg\u00e9nicos gad67-gfp que expresan la prote\u00edna verde fluorescente, gfp, bajo el control del promotor de la enzima sintetizadora de gaba, gad67 (tamamaki y cols., 2003), as\u00ed como comparar la expresi\u00f3n de ambos canales en compartimentos somatodendr\u00edticos y ax\u00f3nicos de neuronas gad- y gad+.  para alcanzar estos objetivos, utilizamos t\u00e9cnicas inmunocitoqu\u00edmicas de doble marcado para microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica y m\u00e9todos estad\u00edsticos de cuantificaci\u00f3n. en primer lugar, observamos que la expresi\u00f3n de ambos canales de potasio es m\u00e1s frecuente en dominios somatodendr\u00edticos que ax\u00f3nicos de neuronas dentadas. En segundo lugar, el porcentaje de dominios somatodendr\u00edticos y ax\u00f3nicos de neuronas gad- que expresan kv 3.1 y kv 3.3 es m\u00e1s alto que los de neuronas gad+. Finalmente, la densidad de inmunopart\u00edculas es m\u00e1s elevada para kv 3.1 que para kv 3.3 en ambos tipos de neuronas.  las diferencias observadas en la expresi\u00f3n de los canales de potasio kv 3.1 y kv 3.3 pueden ser determinantes de los distintos patrones de excitabilidad que presentan las neuronas gad- y gad+ de los n\u00facleos profundos, siendo estas propiedades responsables en
