We characterise exceptional and simple general steiner vector bundles and we prone the stability of exceptional steiner vector bundles defined by a pair (ox(-1), ox), where x is a smooth projective hypersurface q degree d, 1\u00c2\u00bfd\u00c2\u00bfn-1. we give sufficient cohomological conditions for a vector bundle to be a steiner vector bundle and we give complete cohomological
