<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En este trabajo se han realizado diversas revisiones bibliogr\u00e1ficas, sobre pasteados cl\u00e1sicos y los que utilizan disolventes org\u00e1nicos, los blanqueos con ox\u00edgeno, ozono y per\u00f3xido de nitr\u00f3geno, el refinado de las pastas y la utilizaci\u00f3n de los residuos de la industria del aceite de palma (efb) para producci\u00f3n de pasta de papel. se han caracterizado los efb (66,97% de holocelulosa, 47,91% de a-celulosa y 24,45% de lignina) y determinado la longitud de sus fibras (0,54 mm). se han comparado los pasteados de los efb obtenidos con diversos reactivos cl\u00e1sicos (sosa, sosa-antraquinona, sosa-parabenzoquinona, potasa y sulfato s\u00f3dico) y disolventes org\u00e1nicos (etilenglicol, dietilenglicol, etanolamina y dietanolamina). se ha estudiado la influencia de temperatura (155-185\u00c2\u00ba c), tiempo (30-90 minutos), concentraci\u00f3n de sosa (10-20%), concentraci\u00f3n de antraquinona (0-1%) y relaci\u00f3n l\u00edquido\/s\u00f3lido (4-8) en el pasteado de efb con sosa-antraquinona, sobre las caracter\u00edsticas de las pastas (rendimiento, viscosidad, \u00edndice kappa y \u00edndice de desgote) y de las hojas de papel resultantes (longitud de ruptura, alargamiento, \u00edndices de estallido y de desgarro y blancura). se ha estudiado el refinado de las pastas \u00aba sosa-antaquinona\u00bb, considerando la influencia de las variables de pasteado y del n\u00famero de vueltas en el refinador pfi (0 a 4.000 vueltas), sobre el grado de refinaod de las pastas y sobre las caracter\u00edsticas f\u00edsicas de las hojas de papel obtenidas (longitud de ruptura, alargamiento, \u00edndice de estallido e \u00edndice de desgarro). se han blanqueado pastas \u00aba la
