Recientemente se ha descrito que flt3 silencia la actividad de la tirosina fosfatasa shp-1 a trav\u00e9s de un mecanismo desconocido. Shp-1 es una tirosina fosfatasa clave en la hematopoyesis y se han descrito alteraciones moleculares que la implican en la fisiopatolog\u00eda de la policitemia vera familiar, neutropenia cong\u00e9nita, smd y lma. En una serie de 235 pacientes diagnosticados de lma y smd en los que se ha estudiado la existencia de mutaciones de flt3 adem\u00e1s hemos estudiado la expresi\u00f3n del gen ptpn6 (shp-1) por inmunohistoqu\u00edmica y pcr en tiempo real. Demostramos la importancia pron\u00f3stica de la expresi\u00f3n de shp-1 en pacientes con smd mediante inmunohistoqu\u00edmica. La asociaci\u00f3n de mutaciones de flt3 y abolici\u00f3n de la expresi\u00f3n de shp-1 se asoci\u00f3 a una supervivencia recortada en pacientes j\u00f3venes que adem\u00e1s presentaban una forma
