La utilizaci\u00f3n de constituyentes moleculares con propiedades interasantes es uno de los objetivos m\u00e1s imporantes dentro de lo que se conoce como las t\u00e9cnicas ascendentes \u00abbottom-up\u00bb, para la fabricaci\u00f3n de dispositivos. Uno de los objetivos principales dentro de la electr\u00f3nica molecular es el dise\u00f1o, s\u00edntesis y caracterizaci\u00f3n de nuevos materiales org\u00e1nicos que poseen propiedades espec\u00edficas que pueden ser utilizadas en dispositivos. A menudo, para la preparaci\u00f3n de un determinado dispositivo es necesario depositar las mol\u00e9culas en una superficie, y ya que la organizaci\u00f3n de las mol\u00e9culas tendr\u00e1 un gran impacto en el funcionamiento del dispositivo, es importante controlar y conocer los par\u00e1metros que influyen en la formaci\u00f3n de estos agregados moleculares.  en esta tesis, se han estudiado las organizaciones moleculares formadas por dos familias de mol\u00e9culas electroactivas, los tetratiafulvalenos (ttf) y los radicales policlorotrifenilmetilos (ptm) que se han utilizado como componentes activos en transistores org\u00e1nicos de efecto de campo (ofets) e interruptores moleculares, respectivamente. El auto-ensamblaje de estas mol\u00e9culas, en el caso de los ttfs para formar cristales y pel\u00edculas delgadas y en el caso de los ptms para formar monocapas auto-ensambladas (sams), conduce a la formaci\u00f3n de estructuras bien ordenadas que determinaran el funcionamiento del dispositivo. El auto-ensamblaje tambi\u00e9n se ha utilizado para estudiar  las estrucutras supramoleculars formadas por estos dos sistemas.  se han preparado a partir de soluci\u00f3n ofets basado en cristales de dos derivados de ttf, el ditiofenotetratiafulvaleno (dt-ttf) y el dibenzotetratiafulvaleno (db-ttf), y se han obtenido mobilidades de los portadores de cargas de 3.65 y 1.4 cm2\/vs, respectivamente. La mobilidad obtendia por el dt-ttf es la m\u00e1s alta publicada para un ofet procesado a partir de soluci\u00f3n.
