Para tales sistemas se predice la aparici\u00f3n de la difracci\u00f3n en el tiempo que gozando de un gran inter\u00e9s desde un punto de vista fundamental, resulta un inconveniente para las aplicaciones en litograf\u00eda. La resoluci\u00f3n de esta confrontaci\u00f3n es solventada describiendo como el encendido suave de un l\u00e1ser at\u00f3mico permite estabilizar su perfil de densidad durante un intervalo de tiempo controlable.  una segunda parte de la tesis ataca problemas abiertos en la din\u00e1mica de muchos cuerpos cuya resoluci\u00f3n por el autor ha sido reconocida ya por la comunidad cient\u00edfica internacional. Explotando la dualidad de bose-fermi exclusiva de los gases ultrafr\u00edos en una dimensi\u00f3n, se han presentado resultados de gran relevancia para los experimentos en el campo, caracterizando distintos procesos din\u00e1micos como son la expansi\u00f3n libre, el decaimiento por tuneleo. Adem\u00e1s se ha presentado una t\u00e9cnica para crear estados cu\u00e1nticos con un n\u00famero bien definido de part\u00edculas, indicando c\u00f3mo mejorar los resultados experimentales realizados en la university of tesas en austin, cuyo \u00e9xito se limit\u00f3 a la preparaci\u00f3n de gases con estad\u00edstica sub-poissoniana. Este resultado es clave para la creaci\u00f3n de interfer\u00f3metros de mayor precisi\u00f3n.  la tesis incluye precisamente combinando los resultados anteriores y generalizando l teor\u00eda de un sistema de muchos cuerpos con estructura interna e interacciones fuertes, en el campo de la metrolog\u00eda. De esta forma se describe como en un interfer\u00f3metro ramsey, elemento clave de un reloj at\u00f3mico, se pueden utilizar las propiedades ventajosas de los gases ultrafr\u00edos en el r\u00e9gimen de tonks, en contrasto con los condensados de bese-einstein en los cuales la interacci\u00f3n de campo medio empeora el patr\u00f3n de interferencia y la precisi\u00f3n del correspondiente
