Asi, se ha sintetizado un derivado de la benzo (d,e) isouinolein-1,3-diona que posee el doble enlace de la agrupacion z-1,2-enediino formando parte del anillo aromatico. Siguiendo con esta misma idea, se ha llevado a cabo la preparacion de diversos derivados de fluoreno que poseen en posicion 9 sistemas de enino, enediino y dienediino. La simplificacion del ciclo de enediino se ha realizado preparando dos compuestos ciclicos que incluyen el sistema de tetrahidropiridina como soporte. Tambien, se han preparado derivados de los sistemas ciclicos y aciclicos enediinicos descritos por union de los mismos a agentes intercalantes y biorreducibles.
