Con el fin de validar la implicaci\u00f3n de dyrk1a en el fenotipo sd se ha desarrollado una estrategia de terapia g\u00e9nica basada en la reducci\u00f3n de la expresi\u00f3n del gen mediante interferencia del rna, en el modelo transg\u00e9nico tgdyrk1a, y se han evaluado los efectos en el fenotipo motor de estos animales. Adem\u00e1s se ha estudiado la implicaci\u00f3n de los receptores glutamat\u00e9rgicos de tipo nmda en las alteraciones motoras descritas en el modelo.
