Nuestra metodolog\u00eda se basa en la combinaci\u00f3n de herramientas de modelado y t\u00e9cnicas de procesado de se\u00f1al para establecer una correspondencia directa entre el sustrato cardiaco, las se\u00f1ales el\u00e9ctricas registradas y la caracterizaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica mediante \u00edndices cardiacos.  en esta disertaci\u00f3n desarrollamos los elementos que conforman un marco de investigaci\u00f3n integrada. Concretamente, realizamos tres aportaciones principales: (i) analizamos a nivel celular los mecanismos de generaci\u00f3n de arritmias inducidas por mutaciones cong\u00e9nitas mediante un modelo detallado de c\u00e9lula cardiaca; (ii) abordamos la reconstrucci\u00f3n de la actividad el\u00e9ctrica cardiaca a partir de se\u00f1ales el\u00e9ctricas remotas mediante algoritmos de estimaci\u00f3n basados en m\u00e1quinas de vectores soporte (svm); y (iii) proponemos y evaluamos un m\u00e9todo de detecci\u00f3n de arritmias basado en \u00edndices cardiacos mediante el uso clasificadores svm y t\u00e9cnicas de selecci\u00f3n de caracter\u00edsticas.   cada una de estas aportaciones sienta las bases de una aproximaci\u00f3n integrada al estudio de las arritmias cardiacas. La combinaci\u00f3n de t\u00e9cnicas de procesado de se\u00f1al y de herramientas de modelado constituye un marco de investigaci\u00f3n beneficioso para esclarecer los mecanismos de las arritmias
