El suelo afecta al caudal de emisores compensantes y no compensantes. Su caudal disminuye al principio del riego, por el desarrollo de presiones positivas en el punto de desag\u00ed\u00bce, hasta que se estabiliza. La disminuci\u00f3n de caudal en el modelo compensante fue igual o mayor que en el no compensante. Este modelo sufre fatiga del elast\u00f3mero con la presi\u00f3n, por lo que la disminuci\u00f3n del caudal al comienzo del riego es mayor que en otros modelos que no presenten dicho efecto. se ha desarrollado un programa de c\u00e1lculo hidr\u00e1ulico de ramales y unidades de riego por goteo subsuperficial que predice el comportamiento de estas unidades en campo. En dicho programa se determina la presi\u00f3n en el suelo en los puntos de desag\u00ed\u00bce de los emisores considerando la variabilidad espacial de las propiedades del suelo. Este programa, junto con otro de simulaci\u00f3n de movimiento del agua, es una herramienta \u00fatil para el estudio tanto de ramales y unidades de riego como de emisores aislados en riego
