En el sistema nervioso, est\u00e1n implicados en la comunciaci\u00f3n neurona-glia. Em este trabakp, se ha demostrado que los astrocitos de cerebelo de  rata coexpresan dos receptores de adp, los receptores p2y1 y p2y 13-like. Ambos receptores se activan simultaneamente a concentraciones nanomolares de agonista y est\u00e1n acoplados a diferentes cascadas de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n. El receptorp2y1 activa a la plc y la movilizaci\u00f3n de calcio intracelular. El receptor p2y13-like est\u00e1 acoplado a la inhibici\u00f3n de la adenilato ciclasa a trav\u00e9s de una prote\u00edna gio y puede activar a la plc a altas concentraciones de egonista. Los dos receptores activan a las prote\u00edn as erks mediante un mecanismo dependiente de prote\u00ednas gio, de prote\u00ednas src y pkcs independientes de calcio. Los astrocitos de cerebelo expresan un receptor p2x7-like con unas caracter\u00edsticas particulares. Su activaci\u00f3n no induce la formaci\u00f3n de por o citil\u00edtico. Por el contrario, provoca cambios en la morfolog\u00eda celular. Este receptor est\u00e1 acolplado a mecanismos de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n ionotr\u00f3picos y metabotr\u00f3picos. Atraves de la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n metabotr\u00f3pica induce la activaci\u00f3n de la plc y la movilizaci \u00f3n de calcio de los reservorios intracelulares, as\u00ed como fosforilaci\u00f3n de las preteinas erks. Es posible que en los cambios morfol\u00f3gicos observados al activarse el receptor p2x7-like, este implicada la pkd.
