Nuestros datos muestran que la gran mayor\u00eda (86-100%) de las neuronas glutamat\u00e9rgicas en las capas ll-v expresan el receptor 5-ht2a en cpf de mono y humano, siendo este porcentaje significativamente menor en capa vi (13-31%). Hemos observado la expresi\u00f3n de este receptor en un 13-46% de las interneuronas gaba\u00e9rgicas distribuidas en todas las capas corticales exceptuando la capa i. Hemos estudiado su distribuci\u00f3n en las subpoblaciones de interneuronas parvalb\u00famina y calbindina. Nuestros datos muestran 45-69% de c\u00e9lulas parvalb\u00famina y 61-87% de c\u00e9lulas calbindina que expresan el receptor 5-ht2a. nuestros datos muestran que los receptores 5-ht1a se expresan en alrededor del 80% de las neuronas glutamat\u00e9rgicas de las capas corticales ii y parte externa de la iii y cerca del 50% en la capa vi; aproximadamente 20% de las interneuronas gaba\u00e9rgicas de estas capas expresaron este receptor. Tambi\u00e9n hemos visto que 43% de la subpoblaci\u00f3n de c\u00e9lulas gaba\u00e9rgicas calbindina expresa el receptor 5-ht1a y rara vez se encuentra en c\u00e9lulas parvalb\u00famina positivas. nuestros datos muestran que los cuatro receptores estudiados se encuentran expresados principalmente en neuronas glutamat\u00e9rgicas (53-88%). Los receptores d1, d2 y d4 est\u00e1n presentes en 23-49% de las interneuronas gaba\u00e9rgicas. El receptor d5 raramente se encuentra expresado en esta poblaci\u00f3n celular. Adem\u00e1s, hemos estimado la proporci\u00f3n de los receptores d2 y d4 en las subpoblaciones de interneuronas gaba\u00e9rgicas parvalb\u00famina positivas y calbindina positivas. El receptor d2 se encuentra en 15-20% de las c\u00e9lulas parvalb\u00famina y el receptor d4 en 66-65%.
