El contraste de esta hipotesis se aplico a la imagen de la u.E. Transmitida por la prensa escrita. En este sentido, se propone una metodolog\u00eda en la que se establecen matices de importancia que afectan a las tecnicas de recogida de datos de la investigacion. Se conjugan analisis cualitativos y cuantitativos por considerarse complementarios y dependientes para obtener una adecuada identificacion y posterior prediccion de la imagen. La eficacia del estudio solo era concebible mediante un analisis periodico y sistematico de los flujos informativos. Por otro lado, se realizo una aplicacion real y empirica en el receptor con el fin de obtener un mejor conocimiento del area principal de esta investigacion: la imagen de una
