En todos los casos se ha utilizado la (r,r)-hidrobenzo\u00ed\u00afna como auxiliar quiral, formando monoacetales con los sustratos de partida.  en primer lugar se ha abordado la s\u00edntesis de (r)-esporocnol a, el enanti\u00f3mero de un producto natural. seguidamente, se han sintetizado una s\u00e9rie de compuestos con posible actividad como f\u00e1rmacos antituberculosos. finalmente, se han completado las s\u00edntesis en forma enantiopura de alosecurinina y viroalosecurinina, enanti\u00f3meros entre s\u00ed, que forman parte de la familia de alcaloides de
