En este proyecto se consigui\u00f3 sintetizar a trav\u00e9s de una ruta sint\u00e9tica innovadora, nuevas mol\u00e9culas que contienen el sistema estructural 1,8 epoxiciclodecano y 1,7 epoxiciclononano (subestructuras de muchos compuestos naturales que presentan actividad antitumoral). Los nuevos compuestos sintetizados fueron evaluados por parte del instituto del c\u00e1ncer en estados unidos. De las dos quimiotecas enviadas, 4 mol\u00e9culas resultaron activas frente a diferentes l\u00edneas celulares tumorales con un valor de ic50 entre 2 y 20 \u00c2\u00bfm. para entender el mecanismo biol\u00f3gico de las nuevas mol\u00e9culas activas, se llevaron a cabo en un primer lugar, estudios biol\u00f3gicos para determinar una posible interacci\u00f3n con el adn, y en un segundo lugar un estudio te\u00f3rico mediante la t\u00e9cnica computacional de docking para evaluar la posible afinidad de las mol\u00e9culas activas con la beta-tubulina. a partir del estudio sar y de los resultados obtenidos con el docking, se decidi\u00f3 modificar la ruta sint\u00e9tica para sintetizar nuevos derivados potencialmente m\u00e1s activos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
