De acuerdo con esta l\u00ednea, el estudio se aborda partiendo de dos objetivos: 1.- Analizar la utilidad de los criterios de segmentaci\u00f3n del mercado en el contexto del comercio b2c, profundizando en el valor percibido y en sus elementos generadores como bases de car\u00e1cter conductual y en su potencial influencia heterog\u00e9nea sobre las variables consecuentes satisfacci\u00f3n y lealtad; 2.- Progresar en los procedimientos estad\u00edsticos de identificaci\u00f3n de la heterogeneidad a nivel de segmento, comprobando la efectividad del enfoque latente en la detecci\u00f3n de la heterogeneidad no observada propia de los criterios conductuales. Seg\u00fan estos objetivos, el trabajo se estructura en dos partes. La primera de ellas presenta la revisi\u00f3n te\u00f3rica necesaria para delimitar el campo de investigaci\u00f3n en torno a la segmentaci\u00f3n del mercado electr\u00f3nico, prestando una especial atenci\u00f3n a los criterios y a las t\u00e9cnicas estad\u00edsticas de segmentaci\u00f3n. La segunda recoge una investigaci\u00f3n emp\u00edrica con el fin de dar respuesta a los prop\u00f3sitos del trabajo a trav\u00e9s del contraste de las hip\u00f3tesis de investigaci\u00f3n. Los resultados del an\u00e1lisis de la informaci\u00f3n describen los segmentos sobre el comportamiento de compra a trav\u00e9s de internet derivados de los criterios descriptivos del consumidor mediante la aplicaci\u00f3n de procedimientos predictivos, as\u00ed como la identificaci\u00f3n de la heterogeneidad no observada mediante la estimaci\u00f3n de un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales de mezclas finitas. Los resultados han permitido contrastar y confirmar diversos planteamientos te\u00f3ricos, brindando la posibilidad de dar continuidad a la investigaci\u00f3n sobre la segmentaci\u00f3n del mercado
