Sin embargo esta fase es muy costosa y se estima que suele consumir entre un 30% y un 50% del coste total de un desarrollo software. Este coste puede ser reducido mediante la automatizaci\u00f3n de la generaci\u00f3n de los datos de prueba con los que se construyen los casos de prueba. en esta tesis se presenta un m\u00e9todo basado en la t\u00e9cnica metaheur\u00edstica b\u00fasqueda dispersa para la generaci\u00f3n de datos de prueba en la fase de pruebas unitarias, que permitan satisfacer el criterio de suficiencia estructural de cobertura de ramas. El m\u00e9todo desarrollado ha dado lugar a dos algoritmos llamados tcss y tcss-ls. As\u00ed mismo se presenta un m\u00e9todo de selecci\u00f3n de los datos de prueba generados para la posterior construcci\u00f3n de los casos de prueba. para estudiar la eficiencia de los algoritmos tcss y tcss-ls se lleva a cabo una experimentaci\u00f3n cuyos resultados, despu\u00e9s de ser discutidos, son analizados de forma descriptiva y estad\u00edstica. Este an\u00e1lisis se efect\u00faa en dos fases. En primer lugar se realiza la comparativa entre tcss y tcss-ls con el fin de determinar cual de ellos ofrece los mejores resultados. Una vez determinado el mejor generador entre tcss y tcss-ls se lleva a cabo una comparativa entre \u00e9ste con los resultados publicados de otros algoritmos generadores de datos de
