Se hace en primer lugar una revision bibliografica de los modelos propuestos por distintos investigadores para la descripcion del indice de claridad y de la fraccion difusa horizontal, asi como para el calculo de la utilizabilidad. Se describe, para la localidad de sevilla durante el periodo comprendido entre los a\u00f1os 1.983-1.991, la irradiacion global horizontal a partir de datos diarios, horarios y medidos cada 5 minutos, la fraccion difusa horizontal y la irradiacion normal directa para datos tomados cada 5 minutos; y se calcula la utilizabilidad a partir de datos diarios, horarios y medidos cada 5 minutos.  por ultimo, una vez vista la forma bimodal de la distribucion del indice de claridad para valores medidos cada 5 minutos, ajustamos a la misma una mixtura de dos distribuciones
