Nuevos servicios como datos y v\u00eddeo requieren transmisiones fiables de alta velocidad, incluso en escenarios de alta movilidad. Adem\u00e1s, la dificultad de asignar el limitado espectro radioel\u00e9ctrico junto con la necesidad de incrementar  el tiempo de vida de las bater\u00edas de los terminales m\u00f3viles, requiere el dise\u00f1o de transceptores que usen eficientemente la potencia y el ancho de banda disponibles. Las comunicaciones multiportadora basadas en ofdm son capaces de satisfacer la mayor\u00eda de dichos requerimientos. Sin embargo, entre otros retos, reducir su sensibilidad a la amplificaci\u00f3n no-lineal es un factor clave durante el dise\u00f1o. En esta tesis se analiza la sensibilidad de los sistemas multiportadora basados en ofdm a la amplificaci\u00f3n no-lineal y se consideran formas eficientes para superar dicho problema. La tesis se enfoca principalmente al problema de reducir las fluctuaciones de la envolvente. En este sentido tambi\u00e9n se presenta un estudio de las m\u00e9tricas de la se\u00f1al, papr y cm. Adem\u00e1s, bas\u00e1ndonos en el an\u00e1lisis presentado se proponen nuevas t\u00e9cnicas para ofdm y mc-ss.
