El interes radica en las aplicaciones del oxido de aluminio como aislante en reactores de fusion, siendo el magnesio uno de los principales productos de transmutacion en reacciones con neutrones de alta energia.  el estudio ha permitido asociar claramente el magnesio con los procesos de tsp-tsd observados y presentar un modelo teorico que lo explica tanto cualitativa como cuantitativamente. Basicamente este modelo se basa en la formacion de una barrera schottky en la interfase aislante-metal al depositar un contacto metalico, actuando el magnesio como centro aceptor.  se ha demostrado asimismo que estos procesos solo ocurren en muestras dopadas previamente templadas desde temperaturas superiores a los 1000 grados c en atmosfera oxidante.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
