Se ha prestado particular atenci\u00f3n a la s\u00edntesis de copol\u00edmeros que presenten una gran homogeneidad en lo relativo a su composici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica.  en una fase posterior, la tesis aborda la caracterizaci\u00f3n por espectroscopia infrarroja de transformada de fourier (ftir) del n\u00famero y la fortaleza de las interacciones por puente de hidr\u00f3geno que, en virtud de su estructura, estos materiales presentan. El resultado m\u00e1s importante de la gran variedad de materiales investigados es que, aunque existen modelos te\u00f3ricos que lo propugnan, es muy arriesgado transferir las constantes de asociaci\u00f3n que cuantifican dichas interacciones de unos compuestos a otros, a\u00fan cuando sus estructuras qu\u00edmicas sean muy parecidas.  finalmente, se ha estudiado el comportamiento del agua frente a esos materiales, determinando las diferentes solubilidades de la misma en cada uno de ellos, as\u00ed como su difusividad a trav\u00e9s de los mismos. Para ello, adem\u00e1s de las t\u00e9cnicas gravim\u00e9tricas habituales, se ha ensayado una t\u00e9cnica alternativa basada en la espectroscopia infrarroja.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
