Una generalizaci\u00f3n interesante de la correspondencia consiste en a\u00f1adir grados de libertad fundamentales. En este trabajo se estudia la adici\u00f3n de sabor en teor\u00edas gauge supersim\u00e9tricas mediante la inserci\u00f3n de branas de prueba en el dual gravitatorio de la teor\u00eda en cuesti\u00f3n. Concretamente se tratan los siguientes casos: %&#038;\/la utilizaci\u00f3n de intersecciones supersim\u00e9tricas de branas para estudiar las teor\u00edas gauge m\u00e1ximamente supersim\u00e9tricas con sabor confinado a un defecto dimensional. Considerando la brana con mayor n\u00famero de dimensiones como una brana de prueba (brana de sabor) en la geometr\u00eda generada por la otra brana (brana de color), los mesones que viven en el defecto dado por la intersecci\u00f3n de ambas branas son estudiados mediante el an\u00e1lisis de las fluctuaciones de la brana de prueba.%&#038;\/La construcci\u00f3n del dual gravitatorio de la fase de higgs de las teor\u00edas tratadas en el punto anterior. En esta descripci\u00f3n hologr\u00e1fica se accede a la fase de higgs mediante la deformaci\u00f3n de la brana de prueba y\/o la adici\u00f3n de flujo de campo gauge en su \u00abvolumen de mundo\u00bb. Asimismo se ha obtenido una descripci\u00f3n alternativa en t\u00e9rminos de branas de color que se expanden y reconstruyen la brana de sabor gracias al efecto diel\u00e9ctrico. De nuevo es posible caracterizar el espectro de mesones mediante el estudio de las fluctuaciones de la brana de prueba.%&#038;\/Utilizando branas de prueba se estudia el espectro de mesones en la deformaci\u00f3n no conmutativa de la teor\u00eda gauge m\u00e1ximamente supersim\u00e9trica en cuatro dimensiones.%&#038;\/Este trabajo concluye con un estudio sistem\u00e1tico de las posibles inserciones supersim\u00e9tricas de branas de prueba en la geometr\u00eda del modelo de klebanov-witten, dual a una teor\u00eda gauge en cuatro dimensiones con supersimetr\u00eda n=1.
