En este trabajo se ha estudiado la extracci\u00f3n en lecho fijo en el intervalo 309-398\u00c2\u00ba c y 35-86 bar observ\u00e1ndose que el rendimiento de la extracci\u00f3n esta influido \u00fanicamente por la temperatura. El efecto del di\u00e1metro de part\u00edcula y la altura de lecho han proporcionado rendimientos en el intervalo de 42 a 64 de la materia org\u00e1nica. Esta variabilidad esta explicada por m\u00faltiples factores: longitud del lecho, di\u00e1metro de part\u00edcula, fracci\u00f3n de huecos y tiempo de residencia. La extracci\u00f3n con tolueno supercr\u00edtico genera aproximadamente 100 kg bitumen\/t a 380oc y 80 bares, este rendimiento es superior al obtenido con pirolisis a las mismas temperaturas. El bitumen extra\u00eddo presenta una composici\u00f3n de hidrocarburos lineales en el intervalo c11-c17 que lo hace muy atractivo para su posterior aprovechamiento. La superficie espec\u00edfica de las pizarras aumenta con el rendimiento de extracci\u00f3n pasando de 13m2\/g a 40 m2\/g despu\u00e9s de la extracci\u00f3n supercr\u00edtica. Esto convierte a las pizarras bituminosas agotadas en un material con buenas propiedades adsorbentes. La combusti\u00f3n de las pizarras agotadas se presenta como una alternativa al aprovechamiento integral de las pizarras bituminosas. Las energ\u00edas de activaci\u00f3n del proceso de combusti\u00f3n se encuentran en el intervalo de 70 kj\/mol la cual aumenta con el grado de coquizaci\u00f3n de la materia org\u00e1nica. La desconvolucion de la extracci\u00f3n ha demostrado que las cin\u00e9ticas de absorbancia deben ser corregidas para el tiempo medio de residencia y para el cambio de densidad que experimenta el
