Este fen\u00f3meno, unido al hecho de que ambos cursos son verdaderamente preuniversitarios para el alumno, dota de gran importancia social a su formaci\u00f3n matem\u00e1tica, ya que una compresi\u00f3n superficial de las nociones del c\u00e1lculo infinitesimal conduce a una deficiente formaci\u00f3n que, posteriormente, redundar\u00e1 en un m\u00e1s que posible fracaso en las aulas universitarias, conduci\u00e9ndole muchas veces al abandono de los estudios.  esta situaci\u00f3n, nos ha impulsado a proponer en este trabajo un tema de investigaci\u00f3n de naturaleza epistemol\u00f3gica-cognitiva-curricular sobre \u00ablas causas de naturaleza ontosimi\u00f3tica de las dificultades mostradas por los alumnos, respecto al concepto de l\u00edmite de una fuci\u00f3n de 1\u00c2\u00ba de bachillerato\u00bb. Se trata de un estudio que busca describir, explicar e identificar factores condicionantes de la ense\u00f1anza-aprendizaje del l\u00edmite de una funci\u00f3n en un contexto institucional
