Algunas de estas subunidades deben ser potenciales elemenos de contacto para los reguladores transcrupcionales, pues la rna polimerasa es, en \u00faltimo t\u00e9rmino, el elemento m\u00e1s directo de la modulaci\u00f3n transcripcional. Este contacto puede darse de forma directa con la misma, bien a trav\u00e9s de la comunicaci\u00f3n con otros factores generales de transcripci\u00f3n (gfts) o con factores espec\u00edficos.  en este proyecto se propone llevar a cabo un an\u00e1lisis de regiones de la rna polimerasa ii que, por su localizaci\u00f3n en la superficie de la estructura de dicho complejo, puedan ser potenciales regiones de comunicaci\u00f3n con reguladores de la transcripci\u00f3n.
