Dolores <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El organo subcomisural es una glandula cerebral ubicada en la pared dorsal del tercer ventriculo cerebral. Su secrecion esta constituida por glucoproteinas que, tras ser liberadas apicalmente al ventriculo, polimerizan y forman la fibra de reissner. Esta discurre en sentido rostro-caudal por el canal central medular, despolimerizandose en su extremo distal. Se ha sugerido la existencia de una secrecion basal de las celulas del osc hacia vasos sanguineos y leptomeninge. La funcion del osc y su secrecion se desconoce hasta el momento, a pesar de ser una glandula cerebral de temprana aparicion en la ontogenia y en la filogenia.  los estudios encaminados a analizar la naturaleza de la secrecion del osc han llevado a proponer que esta constituida por glucoproteinas de tipo n-ligadas. Estas se sintetizan en el reticulo endoplasmatico, y a continuacion son procesadas y transportadas a granos de secrecion. Los compuestos de secrecion maduros son sialoglucoproteinas con un oligosacarido de tipo complejo. Para el analisis de la secrecion en un vertebrado inferior se ha escogido el elasmobranquio scyliorhinus canicula. Este analisis se basa en el empleo de antisueros y lectinas para marcar los compuestos secretorios en secciones de osc y en extractos de tejido.  para ello se produjeron anticuerpos contra las bandas electroforeticas correspondientes a tales compuestos, cuyos pesos moleculares estimados fueron 600, 475, 400 y 145 kda.  el compuesto de 600 kda se propone como posible precursor por: i) ser el de mayor peso molecular de los cuatro, ii) localizarse en las cisternas del reticulo endoplasmatico y en los granos secretorios, iii) reaccionar el antisuero contra el con el resto de los compuestos de menor peso molecular.
