La finalidad de este estudio era construir derivados ciclobut\u00e1nicos y ciclobut\u00e9nicos enantiomericamente puros altamente funcionarizados mediante reacciones de fotocicloadici\u00f3n (2+2). Para ello se han establecido las condiciones para llevar a cabo las reacciones fotoqu\u00edmicas (tempertura, tiempo, disolvente, filtro de luz) y se ha estudiado la mastereoselectividad y la regioselectividad con la que estas tienen lugar. una vez optimizadas, las reacciones de fotocicloadici\u00f3n de cloro y fluoro lactonas, as\u00ed como de lactamas, a etileno fueron aplicadas en la s\u00edntesis diastereoselectiva de an\u00e1logos ciclobut\u00e1nicos de cloro, fluoro y azanucle\u00f3sidos con inter\u00e9s biol\u00f3gico. La metodolog\u00eda seguida ha permitido preparar una amplia familia de nuevos derivados de bases nitrogenadas p\u00faricas (adenina, hiopoxantina y 6-cloropurina) y pirimidinicas (timina). El paso sint\u00e9tico clave de todas las s\u00edntesis ha consistido en la reacci\u00f3n de nucleosidaci\u00f3n de vorbr\u00ed\u00bcgen de un derivado acetilado con las correspondientes bases nitrogenadas. finalmente, la actividad antiviral frente al vih-1 ha sido evaluada para todos los an\u00e1logos de nucle\u00f3sidos preparados, obteni\u00e9ndose una actividad moderada para uno de
