El objetivo es analizar la influencia de dichos flujos en la formaci\u00f3n de patrones (estructuras espacio-temporales) t\u00edpicas de medios activos.%&#038;\/Se inicia el estudio con la influencia del periodo de refractoriedad en medios de reacci\u00f3n-difusi\u00f3n (vulnerabilidad). Se demuestra que el fen\u00f3meno de la vulnerabilidad  (formaci\u00f3n de patrones con propagaci\u00f3n an\u00f3mala por reexcitaci\u00f3n prematura) es tambi\u00e9n posible en medios continuos y se estudia la influencia de diferentes par\u00e1metros externos la regi\u00f3n en la que se produce dicho fen\u00f3meno.%&#038;\/Posteriormente se hace un estudio mediante simulaci\u00f3n num\u00e9rica de la presencia de un campo advectivo ca\u00f3tico cuando el medio activo es excitable, donde como resultado relevante se observa la formaci\u00f3n de patrones persistentes muy peque\u00f1os y en forma de \u00ablunares\u00bb.%&#038;\/A continuaci\u00f3n se presenta un estudio experimental de los diferentes comportamientos que se observan cuando el medio activo es oscilante (reacci\u00f3n de belousov-zhabotinsky) y el flujo convectivo es originado por la inestabilidad param\u00e9trica de faraday. Dicho experimento permite confirmar la presencia de grandes estructuras vorticales en el campo advectivo del fluido, que hab\u00edan sido muy poco estudiadas. Desde el punto de vista del medio activo, para el citado experimento, se describen cuatro zonas en funci\u00f3n de los distintos comportamientos de los patrones para diferentes amplitudes y frecuencias de vibraci\u00f3n externa. %&#038;\/Finalmente, se analiza en detalle uno de los reg\u00edmenes encontrados en el experimento anterior. Para ello, se estudia la acci\u00f3n conjunta de la difusi\u00f3n y la advecci\u00f3n como un \u00fanico t\u00e9rmino difusivo.
