En este trabajo se analizan dos aspectos fundamentales de estos complejos: su capacidad para absorber co2 atmosf\u00e9rico y el potencial uso de complejos de baja nuclearidad en la obtenci\u00f3n de compuestos polinucleares discretos y\/o pol\u00edmeros de coordinaci\u00f3n. As\u00ed, en esta memoria se describe un minucioso estudio de reactividad, an\u00e1lisis estuctural y magn\u00e9tico de complejos di- y polinucleares. De este modo, el trabajo realizado permite observar que compuestos de zinc y n\u00edquel con estos ligandos presentan gran habilidad para fijar co2 del aire, de tal modo que se obtienen carbonato complejos tetranucelares. Adem\u00e1s, la presente tesis pone de manifiesto que es posible utilizar complejos dinucleares con estas bases a modo de nodos en la obtenci\u00f3n de compuestos polinucleares, si bien no se aislan pol\u00edmeros de coordinaci\u00f3n. El an\u00e1lisis magn\u00e9tico de todos los complejos de iones paramagn\u00e9ticos demuestra que la mayor parte de estos compuestos son ferromagn\u00e9ticos y que, adem\u00e1s, es posible obtener
