Las pleurocidinas son una familia de p\u00e9ptidos antimicrobianos de naturaleza cati\u00f3nica con potente actividad antibacteriana que fueron inicialmente aislados de secreciones mucosas de platija americana (pleuronectes americanus). Dado su potente actividad de amplio espectro, en este trabajo y con el fin de encontrar alternativas viables al uso de los antibi\u00f3ticos tradicionales, se ha aislado, clonado y expresado en cultivo celular el gen que codifica para la pleurocidina de limanda limanda, otro pez plano perteneciente al igual que la platija americana a la familia pleuronectidae. Mediante la construcci\u00f3n de una prote\u00edna de fusi\u00f3n entre el gen de la pleurocidina y el cdna de la gfp pudo comprobarse que la pleurocidina se procesaba y secretaba adecuadamente en nuestro sistema. As\u00ed mismo se ha comprobado su expresi\u00f3n in vivo en truchas acuicultivadas y su actividad antimicrobiana. Por ello, se han seleccionado l\u00edneas celulares que expresan permanentemente este p\u00e9ptido antimicrobiano como una primera aproximaci\u00f3n a la construcci\u00f3n de un sistema de
