Adicionalmente este m\u00e9todo de aleaci\u00f3n ayuda a superar los problemas de oxidaci\u00f3n que han sido la principal barrera para utilizar en pm su amplio potencial.  a lo largo del trabajo se expone detalladamente el desarrollo de aceros pm basados en la adici\u00f3n de una aleaci\u00f3n maestra que contiene mn. Para ello se ha tenido en cuenta tanto principios metal\u00fargicos como termodin\u00e1micos solventando as\u00ed los m\u00faltiples inconvenientes que se han descrito para su procesamiento. Se han determinado los mecanismos de aleaci\u00f3n que tienen lugar y por la versatilidad que presenta la aleaci\u00f3n maestra se han estudiado diversos sistemas utilizando diferentes polvos base fe.  el presente estudio se hizo extensivo al ni como un elemento de aleaci\u00f3n adicional por sus atractivos metal\u00fargicos como parte de la composici\u00f3n de los aceros pulvimetal\u00fargicos. Tambi\u00e9n se ha llevado a cabo un an\u00e1lisis exhaustivo de los mecanismos de aleaci\u00f3n que tienen lugar durante el desarrollo microestructural, y se ha prestado particular inter\u00e9s al estudio de las zonas ricas en ni que son t\u00edpicas de materiales de elevada resistencia como los distaloys.   siguiendo una ruta semejante se han dise\u00f1ado y producido a nivel de laboratorio un conjunto de aleaciones maestras que contienen si en su composici\u00f3n, para a\u00f1adirlas a distintos polvos base fe. La composici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica de las aleaciones maestras se hizo a medida para obtener aceros pm sinterizados en fase l\u00edquida    master alloy concept has been analysed in order to obtain low alloyed pm steels with specifically designed microstructures and a good level of mechanical properties which contain typical alloying elements from wrought steels in their composition. Additionally, this alloying method helps to overcome the oxidation problems which have been the main barrier for their use in powder metallurgy.  along the work, the development of steels based on a mn-containing master alloy is presented. Metallurgical concepts as well as thermodynamics have been taken into account in order to solve the described processing problems. Alloying mechanisms have also been determined and, due to the versatility that the master alloy shows, many systems have been studied using different iron based powders.  the present study was extended to ni as an additional alloying element because of its metallurgical attractiveness as part of the chemical composition of pm steels. An exhaustive analysis of the alloying mechanisms taking place during microestructural development was carried out. Special efforts were dedicated to studying the ni rich areas which are typical of high strength pm materials such as distaloys.  following a similar route, a set of si-containing master alloys has been designed and produced under laboratory conditions to be added to different iron based powders.
