Sin embargo, la realizaci\u00f3n de estos ensayos conlleva, a parte del coste econ\u00f3mico asociado, la realizaci\u00f3n de prototipos espec\u00edficos para tales ensayos, lo que implica un aumento en el coste y en el tiempo.  por eso, resulta muy interesante disponer de modelos matem\u00e1ticos que permitan analizar el calentamiento de los fusibles ante diferentes situaciones de funcionamiento o ante modificaciones de ciertos par\u00e1metros de dise\u00f1o, permitiendo as\u00ed la optimizaci\u00f3n de la etapa de dise\u00f1o de los mismos. as\u00ed, el objetivo de la presente tesis es desarrollar, mediante su estudio matem\u00e1tico, una metodolog\u00eda de aplicaci\u00f3n general que permita calcular de forma r\u00e1pida tanto el calentamiento en los extremos del fusible y en el punto m\u00e1s caliente del mismo, como la potencia disipada, en fusibles limitadores de corriente de mt, de tipo back-up, en r\u00e9gimen permanente, en instalaciones exteriores y colocados en
