El trabajo cuantifica mediante experimentos in vitro el efecto antiagregante plaquetario de hidroxitirosol y acetato de hidroxitirosilo, dos polifenoles derivados del aceite de oliva en sangre total humana, analizando el efecto de ambos compuestos en varias v\u00edas del proceso de agregaci\u00f3n plaquetaria humana; y mediante experimentos ex vivo tras su administraci\u00f3n oral a ratas su efecto sobre la funci\u00f3n plaquetaria. En los experimentos in vitro en sangre total humana se ha determinado la agregabilidad plaquetaria, la actividad ciclooxigenasa, y la producci\u00f3n de prostacilina, \u00f3xico n\u00edtrico y peroxinitrilos ante diferentes dosis de hidroxitirosol y acetato de hidroxitirosilo. Y en los animales tratados con hidroxitirosol y acetato de hidroxitirosilo en comparaci\u00f3n con \u00e1cido acetil salic\u00edlico se determin\u00f3 la agregabilidad plaquetaria, la producci\u00f3n plaquetaria de tromboxano b2, la producci\u00f3n vascular de protacilina, y la formaci\u00f3n de \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico. Aunque ambos polifenoles presentan efecto antiplaquetario e inhiben la actividad ciclooxigenasa y facilitan la producci\u00f3n de \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico tanto en humanos como animales, el efecto de acetato de hidroxitirosilo fue mayor al de hidroxitirosol y parecido tanto de forma cuantitativa como cualitativa del \u00e1cido acetil salic\u00edlico.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos
