La determinacion de los niveles de anestesicos serian utiles para determinar la dosis externa a la que estan sometidos los trabajadores que junto con el control biologico de los mismos, dosis interna, complementaria la valoracion de la exposicion a residuos de anestesicos inhalatorios.  el objetivo de este trabajo ha sido el dise\u00f1o y realizacion experimental de un programa de control ambiental y biologico de la exposicion a isoflurano, que es el vapor anestesico mas utilizado en la actualidad.  se ha encontrado una buena correlacion entre la concentracion ambiental de isoflurano y la concentracion del mismo en aire exhalado consiguiendo un indice biologico equivalente al valor limite ambiental que permitira la valoracion de la dosis interna
