Ademas de las descripciones completas de cada una de las especies, se presentan comparaciones y biocrones de las mismas.  tambien hay una corta introduccion a los grandes grupos sistematicos tratados y una justificacion de las clasificaciones adoptadas. Una base de datos recoge la situacion de cada taxon en los sectores en que se ha dividido la cuenca y su posicion estratigrafica local. En total se han estudiado 11.954 piezas.  la geolog\u00eda general de la cuenca se ha tratado de una forma escueta y con el fin de situar la macroflora en su contexto estratigrafico. Nueve cuadros recogen la distribucion de las especies dentro de cada uno de los sectores, y otras 9 tablas resumen el analisis de los blocrones de las especies. Del analisis de estos cuadros de distribucion y de las tabals de biocrones se deduce la existencia de dos grandes areas de sedimentacion, una langsettiense superior-duckmantiense mas inferior, y otra duckmantiense superior (sin descartar la presencia de la parte mas inferior del bolsoviense). Esto prueba la existencia de al menos dos etapas bien diferenciadas en la historia geologica de la cuenca.  finalmente se ha visto que la composicion de la macroflora es practicamente identica a la de la franja paralica centroeuropea; solo una especie (en nomenclatura abierta en este trabajo) se reconoce como nueva y diferente.
