As\u00ed pues, en este estudio est\u00e1 aplicada la idea de cuatro per\u00edodos en la obra de arconada, y a partir de ah\u00ed, su obra escrita despu\u00e9s del 1939 se analiza como una unidad sovi\u00e9tica, y se descubren los rasgos de la po\u00e9tica de su producci\u00f3n literaria que vinculan la etapa del exilio sovi\u00e9tico con la anterior, de la guerra civil espa\u00f1ola.  en el primer cap\u00edtulo se reconstruye la trayectoria vital de arconada, aportando nuevas informaciones sobre su vida en el periodo de los a\u00f1os treinta, y sobre el exilio en francia y la uni\u00f3n sovi\u00e9tica.  en el cap\u00edtulo correspondiente se realiza el an\u00e1lisis de la narrativa breve in\u00e9dita de arconada, sus obras de teatro y algunos ensayos. Seg\u00fan el criterio tem\u00e1tico, la obra de arconada de la etapa del exilio est\u00e1 agrupada en dos bloques generales: la tradici\u00f3n de las letras espa\u00f1olas y la lucha antifranquista. al analizar la narrativa breve de arconada, han sido utilizados los principios de la narratolog\u00eda, lo que permite caracterizar la obra literaria del escritor en el exilio como literatura \u00abautoritaria\u00bb, siguiendo la definici\u00f3n de susana suleiman. En el ap\u00e9ndice de la tesis se presenta la edici\u00f3n de los cuentos in\u00e9ditos de arconada: el libro de los relatos del periodo del exilio de la urss, cuentos de Madrid; dos relatos del libro espa\u00f1a es invencible, y los relatos de los a\u00f1os cincuenta.
