Se pone as\u00ed de manifiesto la capacidad de los sistemas preorganizados 1 y 2 para actuar como ligandos tridentados a trav\u00e9s de los \u00e1tomos de ox\u00edgeno.  elementos alcalinos (grupo 1):  cuando los productos sintetizados reaccionan con reactivos que contienen hidr\u00f3genos \u00e1cidos (ciclopentadienos o alcoholes) regeneran los complejos alquilidinos de partida. Adem\u00e1s, el oxoetilidino formado evoluciona en presencia de alcoholes y origina grupos alc\u00f3xido y alquilideno soportados sobre el \u00f3xido organomet\u00e1lico.  los compuestos estudiados mediante difracci\u00f3n de rayos-x presentan distancias ti-c(apical) ligeramente m\u00e1s cortas que en los sistemas de partida y muestran una unidad b\u00e1sica de tipo cubo donde el cati\u00f3n met\u00e1lico se dispone en uno de sus v\u00e9rtices. La geometr\u00eda y el entorno de coordinaci\u00f3n vienen determinados por el tama\u00f1o del i\u00f3n alcalino. Al margen de las estructuras en estado s\u00f3lido, la disoluci\u00f3n de los complejos en disolventes con capacidad coordinativa como el tetrahidrofurano origina especies mon\u00f3meras tipo cubo donde el cati\u00f3n alcalino queda solvatado por mol\u00e9culas del disolvente.  elementos alcalinot\u00e9rreos (grupo 2):  la reacci\u00f3n de los oxocomplejos 1 y 2 con amiduros de mg, ca y sr tiene lugar con deprotonaci\u00f3n de los grupos alquilidino y origina derivados oxoheterometalocubanos donde el cati\u00f3n met\u00e1lico mantiene un grupo disililamiduro. Este ligando puede desplazarse en determinados casos con ciclopentadienos, alcoholes o incluso el complejo organomet\u00e1lico de partida, permaneciendo inalterado el fragmento alquilidino
