El primero de ellos ha consistido en una optimizaci\u00f3n de la respuesta del detector de centelleo l\u00edquido, enfocada a la medida de emisores beta. En segundo lugar ha sido preciso desarrollar procedimientos de tratamiento de las muestras naturales.  en esta tesis se seleccionan dos radionucleidos concretos para la aplicaci\u00f3n de la t\u00e9cnica puesta a punto, el tritio y el 210pb. En el primer caso se trata de un emisor beta puro, cuya baja energ\u00eda de emisi\u00f3n le hace sensible a los procesos que afectan a su medida, mientras que en el segundo caso se trata de un emisor beta que se encuentra acompa\u00f1ado en la fuente radiactiva por sus descendientes, el 210 bi(emisor beta) y el 210 po (emisor alfa). una rigurosa optimizaci\u00f3n de los procedimientos de medida ha sido realizada en ambos casos. Adem\u00e1s, la elecci\u00f3n de estos dos radionucleidos se justifica por las m\u00faltiples aplicaciones medioambientales que tienen su medida, como se comprueba a lo largo de la
