Para ello se ha utilizado el conejo como modelo animal para la clonaci\u00f3n terap\u00e9utica en humanos.  durante los sucesivos experimentos realizados en el presente trabajo, las etapas t\u00e9cnicas de la transferencia nuclear y las condiciones de trabajo se fueron definiendo y mejorando progresivamente. Un claro ejemplo de esta evoluci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica queda reflejado en la definici\u00f3n de los tratamientos de fusi\u00f3n y activaci\u00f3n. Durante la realizaci\u00f3n de estos experimentos, los aspectos biol\u00f3gicos relativos a la transferencia nuclear de c\u00e9lulas som\u00e1ticas fueron tambi\u00e9n estudiados.  cuando se utilizaron fibroblastos de individuos de avanzada edad, no se observaron diferencias en la tasa de blastocistos (30-adf 21% vs 60-adf 19% vs 90-adf 18%). Las diferencias detectadas en la tasa de blastocistos escapados no alcanzaron niveles de significaci\u00f3n  (30-adf 11% vs 60-adf 18% vs 90-adf 18%). Sin embargo, en los grupos 60- y 90-adf, los embriones alcanzaron el estadio de blastocisto m\u00e1s pronto que en el grupo de 30-adf (d\u00eda 4: 40% y 50% vs 8%, p&gt;0.05). Adem\u00e1s, la calidad de los blastocistos fue inferior en el grupo 30-adf (buena: 30-adf 38% vs 60-adf 90% vs 90-adf 90%, p&gt;0.05).  para evaluar la hipot\u00e9tica capacidad de desdiferenciaci\u00f3n de embriones en estadios tempranos del desarrollo sobre fibroblastos de individuos muy envejecidos, as\u00ed como el posible efecto de auxilio celular ejercido por parte de estos fibroblastos sobre los embriones reconstituidos, se realizaron una serie de experimentos de quimerismo. Puede concluirse de estos experimentos, que la inserci\u00f3n de fibroblastos no supone da\u00f1o alguno sobre los embriones, y que el estadio embrionario de 4-8 c\u00e9lulas es el m\u00e1s adecuado
