Para esta tarea hemos dise\u00f1ado y construido los equipos totalmente originales para la s\u00edntesis, purificaci\u00f3n, fabricaci\u00f3n y crecimiento de respectivos materiales. En concreto destacamos el horno tipo bridgman vertical transparente para el control de la interfase de crecimiento de los cristales y el desarrollo del m\u00e9todo de enfriamiento r\u00e1pido en el mismo crisol para la fabricaci\u00f3n de los vidrios.  el estudio espectrosc\u00f3pico se ha hecho mediante espectroscop\u00eda de absorci\u00f3n y luminiscencia poniendo en evidencia la emisi\u00f3n visible del pr3+ desde el nivel 1d2 en vidrios y la conversi\u00f3n de energ\u00eda ir en vis bajo excitaci\u00f3n l\u00e1ser para los cristales dopados con pr3+ y codopados con pr3+\/yb3+.
