En el presente trabajo se ha estudiado el efecto espasmolitico de diferentes aines -indometacina, fenilbutazona, acido mefenamico, naproxen, tolmetin, piroxicam, diclofenac y metamizol- sobre la contraccion del utero de rata in vitro mediante la tecnica experimental de ba\u00f1o de organo aislado, asi como el ensayo enzimatico de fosfodiesterasa de ampc dependiente de calcio-calmodulina. Todos los aines ensayados, excepto metamizol, se comportan como espasmoliticos al inhibir la contraccion fasica inducida por metacolina o prostaglandina f2alfa, y al relajar el componente tonico de la contraccion por kci o vanadato.  su efecto relajante se antagoniza con inhibidores de protein kinasa a y c, asi como con inhibidores de fosfatasas y con toxina pertussis. Asimismo, los aines inhiben la actividad de fosfodiesterasa de ampc dependiente de calmodulina. Los resultados sugieren que el efecto espasmolitico de los aines se produce por interferencia con las proteinas g y calmodulina, utilizando como mediador ampc y protein kinasa
