Para ello se ensayaron diferentes motores en banco de pruebas con variacion de las condiciones de operacion, en una sala de laboratorio semi-anecoica, registrandose medidas de intensidad sonora en diversos puntos alrededor del motor. Con ello se podia conocer en cada instante y para cada intervalo de frecuencias (las se\u00f1ales se procesaron con un analizador de intensimetria de filtros digitales de hasta 1\/32 de octava) que partes o elementos del motor eran las generadoras del sonido. La imposicion de ciertos da\u00f1os en las maquinas mostro suficientes desviaciones en el ruido producido como para, en efecto, desarrollar un sistema experto para el mantenimiento predictivo de los
