<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Desde hace varios a\u00f1os los geles polim\u00e9ricos han experimentado un desarrollo muy importante como materiales multifuncionales al presentar una serie de caracter\u00edsticas estructurales y propiedades f\u00edsicas particulares.  el presente trabajo se ha abordado desde la perspectiva de un estudio b\u00e1sico sobre la formaci\u00f3n, estructura y propiedades de hidrogeles de polialcohol vin\u00edlico formados por ciclos de congelaci\u00f3n-descongelaci\u00f3n y potenciales aplicaciones derivados de los mismos.Se han preparado y caracterizado por diversas t\u00e9cnicas como reolog\u00eda, dsc,medidas de hinchamiento y t\u00e9cinicas espectrosc\u00f3picas como ft-ir y rmn en etado s\u00f3lido , sistemas basados en higrogeles de pva como redes interpenetradas pva\/paac e hidrogeles de pva con y-ciclodextrina(y-cd).  los resultados han permitido definir la estructura generada en los hidrogeles de pva devido a la aplicaci\u00f3n de ciclos de congelaci\u00f3n-descongelaci\u00f3n y proponer un posible mecanismo de gelificaci\u00f3n.Asimismo , se han definido las mejores condiciones para la formaci\u00f3n de redes interpenetradas pva\/paac, estudiado las propiedades y la posible separaci\u00f3n de fases en funci\u00f3n de diferentes par\u00e1metros cmo la concentraci\u00f3n de pva, los ciclos de congelaci\u00f3n-descongelaci\u00f3n o el grado de entrecruzamiento del p\u00ed\u00a0ac.El estudio de los hidrogeles pva-ycd ha permitido carectizar el complejo de inclusi\u00f3n formado entre el pva y la ycd adopta una estructura de tipo canal y confirmar el mecanismo de gelificaci\u00f3n para los hidrogeles de pva obtenidos por ciclos de
