Dicho amplificador incluye una etapa de potencia que se apoya en los procesos de conmutaci\u00f3n suave, para conseguir que la potencia disipada sea reducida.  por otra parte modulador y etapa de potencia pueden trabajar sincronizador dado que la etapa de potencia utiliza tecnicas de conversion resonante.  el amplificador ha demostrado un comportamiento adecuado, resultando competitivo en el estudio comparativo que se ha realizado tras analizar otros amplificadores de audio clase-d.  la tesis tambien incluye un estudio de los dos tipos de modulaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s habituales:
