Carmen L\u00f3pez Fern\u00e1ndez <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La tesis que se presenta plantea una revisi\u00f3n de la imagen de la mujer en la pintura espa\u00f1ola de finales del siglo xix y principios del siglo xx, a partir de la articulaci\u00f3n de los principales tipos femeninos que aparecen en el panorama art\u00edstico espa\u00f1ol: la elegante, al emancipada, la trabajadora, la prostituta, la gitana, la mendiga o la beata, entre otros, que son presentados como contravalores de un nuevo ideal femenino, cl\u00e1sico y mediterraneista, que comienza a popularizarse a principios del siglo xx.
