Por ejemplo, en el an\u00e1lisis y dise\u00f1o de antenas instaladas en plataformas complejas (como las instaladas sobre barcos y aviones) y\/o rodeadas de objetos complejos (como las antenas mimetizadas), y en la predicci\u00f3n de la secci\u00f3n radar de objetos grandes que tienen peque\u00f1as o medianas hendiduras, cavidades, protuberancias y\/o materiales complejos. El dise\u00f1o e implementaci\u00f3n de un m\u00e9todo num\u00e9rico capaz de analizar eficientemente tales fen\u00f3menos es un problema desafiante, requiriendo, en general, una combinaci\u00f3n de varios m\u00e9todos diferentes. esto se debe a la presencia, en el mismo dominio del problema, de materiales inhomog\u00e9neos (pueden ser tambi\u00e9n anisotr\u00f3picos), objetos con geometr\u00eda arbitraria y objetos cuyo tama\u00f1o es grande con respecto a la longitud de onda (met\u00e1licos y\/o diel\u00e9ctricos). En esta tesis, se presenta un m\u00e9todo h\u00edbrido que combina el m\u00e9todo de elementos finitos (fem) y una t\u00e9cnica de la frecuencia alta (hf) para el an\u00e1lisis de este tipo de problemas. este m\u00e9todo h\u00edbrido analiza los objetos complejos y de tama\u00f1o el\u00e9ctrico mediano o peque\u00f1o por medio del fem y los objetos grandes por medio de una t\u00e9cnica de hf. Adem\u00e1s, emplea una ecuaci\u00f3n integral (ie) para obtener una condici\u00f3n de radiaci\u00f3n num\u00e9ricamente exacta en la frontera donde se trunca el dominio fem. Sin embargo, no emplea la ie de manera convencional sino de una forma iterativa, como se menciona a continuaci\u00f3n. As\u00ed pues, este nuevo m\u00e9todo combina m\u00e9todos basados en la ecuaci\u00f3n diferencial (de), en la ecuaci\u00f3n integral (ie) y una t\u00e9cnica asint\u00f3tica. Est\u00e1 hibridaci\u00f3n considera las m\u00faltiples interacciones existentes entre el dominio fem y los objetos analizados por la t\u00e9cnica asint\u00f3tica.
