Inicialmente, se lleva a cabo un an\u00e1lisis del comportamiento de los modelos de sanger y rubner para caracterizar su evoluci\u00f3n din\u00e1mica y su estabilidad. Asimismo, se proponen y evalu\u00e1n algunas mejoras en el dise\u00f1o de los mencionados modelos: unas para optimizar su c\u00e1lculo y otras para ampliar su versatilidad y espectro de utilizaci\u00f3n.  por otro lado, se estudia la idoneidad del empleo de estas redes hebbianas para el an\u00e1lisis de componentes principales y la transformada de karhunen-lo\u00e9ve; en este sentido se ponderan las ventajas del enfoque neuronal frente a los procedimientos cl\u00e1sicos de implementaci\u00f3n.  desde el punto de vista computacional, se eval\u00faa la eficiencia de estos modelos en aplicaciones de compresi\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes est\u00e1ticas, im\u00e1genes multiespectrales y secuencias de v\u00eddeo. Adicionalmente, se implementa un sistema de predicci\u00f3n a corto plazo de par\u00e1metros meteorol\u00f3gicos integrando diferentes modelos neuronales, entre los que se hallan las redes hebbianas como herramienta de preprocesamiento y reducci\u00f3n de dimensionalidad.  finalmente, se esboza la implementabilidad hardware de estos modelos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
